Etihad Airways has signed a multi-year agreement to become the Official Front of Shirt Sponsor for Mumbai City FC, starting from the 2024-25 season. This strategic partnership underscores Etihad’s ongoing dedication to the Indian market and highlights Mumbai City FC’s status as one of India’s leading professional football clubs, boasting two Indian Super League titles and two ISL Cups.
The deal, a landmark in Indian football for its duration, aligns with Etihad’s 20th anniversary of flying to India. As part of the agreement, the Etihad Airways logo will be prominently displayed on the front of Mumbai City FC’s first team and youth team match jerseys, as well as on their training kits.
This partnership celebrates the long-standing ties between the UAE and India, emphasizing shared values such as teamwork and excellence. Both Etihad Airways and Mumbai City FC are committed to bringing people together and inspiring ambition.

To celebrate 20 years of service to India, Etihad’s iconic A380 will begin flying the Mumbai-Abu Dhabi route from 1 September for a four-month period, offering travelers a premium experience. Etihad currently operates flights to 11 Indian destinations, including four daily flights to Mumbai, providing seamless connections to Abu Dhabi and beyond.
