SAUDI ARABIA: Saudi Arabia got through the AFC World Cup qualifiers with relative ease. In Round 2, they remained undefeated. They scored 22 goals and conceded just 4. Then in Round 3, they lost only one game (against Japan) and won 7 out of 10 games. They finished 1^st with 23 points, above Japan (22 points) and Australia (15 points), and reached their second consecutive World Cup.

Talking about their current form, they are not in good shape. Earlier this year, in the month of June, they lost to Colombia and Venezuela. These two teams did not even qualify for the World Cup.

Mexico finished 2^nd in the CONCACAF World Cup qualifiers with the same points as the table topper Canada (28 points). They scored 17 goals and conceded 8 in 14 games. They lost against Canada and USA in the qualifiers. They also lost a friendly game against Paraguay, who failed to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. In their recent games, they lost to Colombia and Paraguay, who did not qualify for the World Cup.

With the current form, Mexico will most probably battle against Poland for the second spot where the Polish probably has a better chance of finishing second.

Poland finished 2^nd in the UEFA qualifiers group with 20 points. They scored 30 and conceded 11 goals. In the semi-final of the playoffs, their match was against Russia. But they were given walkovers as Russia was suspended by FIFA. They won the final against Sweden by 2:0 with Lewandowski and Zielenski scoring the goals.

Despite qualifying for the World Cup, their run in the ongoing UEFA Nations League is heartbreaking. They finished 3^rd in their group, losing three out of their 6 games and collecting just seven points.

But, the Polish supporters can hope for a good result, at least in the group stage of the World Cup. Unlike the Euro Cup last year, where Poland looked more like a One-man-army, now the other teammates are willing to support, Lewandowski.

They are more likely to finish 2^nd in the group, which means they have to play against the Group D winners, which France or Denmark has a high chance of being.
